Phoenix Percussion was formed because we felt there had to be a better way to carry a drum, period. Too many drummers in the marching band world have given up because of lower back complications.

Drumming is about music; marching with a drum is about music. Discomfort is not about music.

The ‘Talon’ is about comfort while the musician is drumming, pure and simple. Through its configuration of adjustment plates and webbing, the weight of the drum is evenly distributed around the body, removing strain and discomfort from shoulders and lower back.
