Features

With most other harnesses and carriers, particularly the rigid ones, they interfere with the aesthetics and overall appearance of the musician. A prime feature of the ‘Talon’ has always been that it is inconspicuous by design. We wanted the ‘Talon’ to be unnoticed. It is not about the harness, it’s about the sound, it’s about tone, and it’s about appearance. It is all about presentation.

The webbing used for the harness softens with use to the point it becomes a glove in terms of comfort. There are five points of adjustment and a quick release clip that allows the harness to fit almost all forms of body size needs; simple put on and take off convenience. Learn More >>

Ergonomically the ‘Talon’ is superior, even compared to other web slings. It is designed not to allow the drum to pull you down and forward. You need not lean back to compensate the weight. Asking your lower back to become a cantilever, you are asking for trouble.

Drumming is not a male dominated section within the marching and pipe band world. Look closely and you will see that the ‘Talon’ harness is very much form fitting and friendly.

talonThe front tilt plate offers the musician a 20º variance of drum tilt as well as left and right positioning.

When not carrying the drum you have the option to loosen your harness, while resting, with the quick release without removing it altogether. It stays on all day; you forget it’s there.

The unique locking handle and simple attachment developed for the tenor drum, offers full stability when marching and turning; you and your drum are one; no slip sliding away.

When on the move performing in the next town, city or country, your ‘Talon’ harness is in your drum box. How convenient is that? Features by design.   Learn More >>
